will an ovulation test work if im already ovulating?

since its suppose to detect when your fertile (ovulation is suppose to occur 12-24 hours after that) what if i tested too late and im already ovulating? should it read that im not fertile?

Well if you are in the stages of ovulating then yes it will tell you that you are ovulating now if you tested to late and you already ovulated then you will get a neg. but if you are ovulating now and you took a test it would come back positive!! GOOD LUCK
